Kaizo Auto Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 14, 2026

Kaizo Auto helps you keep track of your vehicles — fuel, service, expenses, reminders, and your important documents. It is built to be private: it works fully offline, it does not require an account, and it does not send your information to us or to any third party. This policy explains what the app stores and how your information is handled.

The short version: everything you enter stays on your device. If you turn on iCloud, it also syncs privately through your own Apple iCloud account. We — the developer — never receive, see, or store your data on our own servers. We do not use advertising or analytics.

Information you store in the app

All of the following is entered by you and stored on your device (and, if you enable iCloud, in your private iCloud account). It stays under your control:

What we do not collect

Kaizo Auto does not collect your data. Specifically:

Where your data is stored

On your device. Your data is saved locally in the app and protected by your device's standard data protection.

In your own iCloud (optional). If you turn on iCloud, Kaizo Auto uses Apple's iCloud (CloudKit private database) to sync your data across the devices signed in to your Apple ID. This data lives in your personal iCloud account. The developer has no access to it and cannot read it. Its handling is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. You can turn iCloud off at any time in the app's Settings.

Device backups. Because your data lives in the app, it may also be included in your normal iPhone/iCloud device backup.

Sharing and exporting — only when you choose

Your information leaves the app only when you deliberately share it. For example, you may export a backup file, or share a document or an accident report using the iOS share sheet (AirDrop, email, Files, and so on). In those cases you decide where the information goes; Kaizo Auto does not send anything on its own.

Permissions we ask for

Your control and deletion

You can view, edit, or delete any entry at any time inside the app. Deleting a vehicle, document, or record removes it and its photos. Deleting the app removes the data stored on your device; data synced to your iCloud can be managed or removed through your Apple ID / iCloud settings.

Security

Data stored by the app is protected by iOS data protection, which encrypts app data on disk when your device is locked. Keeping a device passcode and Face ID / Touch ID enabled is the best way to protect your information. iCloud sync is secured by Apple as part of your iCloud account.

Children’s privacy

Kaizo Auto is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If the app changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and revise the effective date above.
